I started out in 1983 graduating from High School and attending Johnson County Community College. My hope was to get a degree in Art History. I spent my first three years in college muddling through the required undergrad courses and filling every elective hour I could with fine art classes and art history classes. Somewhere along the way I felt the call to full time vocational ministry. That is where I have spent my career. So for the past 23 years I have dedicated my life’s work to ministry. However, always there is Art. I keep my fine art library and school books close by in my office, I still visit the Nelson Atkins Museum of Art 3-4 times a month. I journal and play around with drawing. Photography has offered me a way to produce art I can enjoy and share that with others at a few shows a few times a year.
I shoot a Canon T3i and do minimal editing of my photographs. The photographs in the galleries are all for sale, framed, matt only or on greeting cards. Just email me through the contact form.
